We started Golden Hour Films because we were tired of watching wedding videos that felt like the same cookie-cutter template with a different couple dropped in – same shots, same music swell, same generic voiceover-free montage you’ve seen a hundred times on Instagram. We wanted ours to actually feel like you – the way your partner looked at you during the vows, the mess and joy of the dance floor, the bits everyone forgets by the time the thank-you cards go out.
We’re based here in Perth, and we shoot every wedding like it’s the only one we’re doing that weekend – because most weekends, it is. No huge crew, no templates. Just good cameras, a good eye, and a genuine love for this kind of work.

The video is absolutely stunning - so beautiful, better than I ever imagined! Most wedding videos I saw felt rushed, like a slideshow of fleeting moments. Yours flowed perfectly, striking the right balance of pace and emotion. I loved how the ceremony was woven with emotional shots, and how you included the best parts of the blessings and speeches. The music and editing were just perfect. Nadeem was amazing - so relaxed, friendly, and full of great ideas. The veil shot was his, and it’s my favourite photo of us. He worked brilliantly with Jacqui, the photographer. The video made everyone cry - even distant friends. I’ll cherish this forever. Well done to you and your team!
